Sub-Standard Engine Parts to handle power of BAJAJ Pulsar 220!

I have purchased Bajaj Pulsar just 2 years before and have completed 31,000+ KMS. One evening one I was retuning from office my bike stopped and till the writing it never ran on it own.

When I went to mechanic and he opened the engine, it was like some kind of junk inside. One of the part which is made of ALLOY and it is said that it will never broke in entire life of engine has broken and in turn DAMAGED the engine compartment (Picture attached).

I am running from pillar to post even gone to Bajaj centres they all were clueless that how can it break, they all pulled their hands since my bike was not in warranty and in return they asked me "FROM WHERE DID YOUR BIKE GENERATE THE POWER TO BREAK THE NON-BREAKABLE PART?"

After running to various centres my conclusion is "BAJAJ PARTS ARE OF SUB-STANDARD TO HANDLE SUCH POWER GENERATED BY PULSAR 220". Let me confess most of the time my speed reached 138 KMPH.

Can anyone help me getting answers from BAJAJ? Can anyone help me getting the ENGINE COMPARTMENT?

I searched many places but it is NOT available.

Till then I am at receiving end since it is like I almost lost my bike and even it was on LOAN and still it is running L !!

UPDATE - 02-Dec-2012: I got my bike repaired from local mechanic who is also a friend. The entire expense was just Rs.6,500/-. The disappointing episode was from BAJAJ service centre who just blindly said that you need to replace complete engine. Shame on these guys who mislead the people.

This is rarest case and from my experince please DON'T hesitate to ride one of the wonderful bike from Indian company. It really best bike on Indian road truly a "FASTEST INDIAN".

Awesome Micromax A110

Nothing can be better then Micromax A110 in the Rs.10,000/- in this world. It gives me all the features that are found in any Rs.30,000+ Android phones. My intention to buy this phone was media and data and I am 100% satisfied with it.

It has been months now I am using it and enjoying it very much on move over 3G network. The features which I like most is

1. All kinds of vedio calling.

2. WatchingHD movies

3. Internet tethering

4. All the free applications, games and many other found in Android market.

Being a dual core I have never seen any kind of lag. And people who say RAM is less don’t know about hardware configurations. Just want to remind you that couple of years back we were using windows 98 on same kind of hardware configuration and android is much smaller then windows 98. I am telling you this because I am an IT guy. More RAM is needed when you are using much heavy 3D games. But still I am not able to find the games which will not run on this phone.

Guys who talk about build quality, what to say them. It build quality is also awesome. It is slimmer then I expected. Very response touch capacitive touch screen.

Only the downside of this phone is its camera which is 8MP but will give you image quality of 5MP. Flash is also not that powerful.

Battery: I will rate battery as 7 out of 10. It lasts only for 1 day with full day online on 3G with chatting and browsing. Initially it use to dry very quickly but twice I let it dry fully and kept charging full night. Since then it has improved. It is really strange that percentage wise battery dries very quickly from 100 to 85 percent and after then it dries very slow. You can watch 5 hours of movie in single full recharge.

For guys who still have mind in buying the phone let me tell then what I thought before buying. Phone of this size with branded company come in 30,000+ its warranty would be 1 year and max life would be 3 years. In Micromax also I get same warranty at Rs.10,000. So it is like I am buying 3 new phones in 3 year with warranty J !!!

Bottom line is “I AM SO HAPPY THAT IT CANNOT BE EXPRESSED IN WORDS!”
